In Australia, you may have come across the term UPVC before when seeking to improve your home and looking for new windows or doors. For those out there who are not aware of the term and what it stands for, UPVC stands for Un-Plasticised Poly Vinyl Chloride. UPVC frames, unlike wood, do not rot and decay, and unlike steel, do not rust. As for aluminium, it’s a fact that it does not rust, but it can corrode, especially in the bitter conditions found in some corners of the country. Aluminium is also not very cost effective.
